A new playground was installed in 2025 on the grounds of the Trout Creek Community Centre. The project was attainable with both provincial and federal funding. We would like to thank the Ontario Ministry of Infrastructure and the Government of Canada's Housing Infrastructure and Communities program for making this happen.
The Trout Creek Lion's Court is located on the Trout Creek Community Centre grounds.
The facility is set up for tennis, basketball or pickleball, during the spring, summer and fall months when weather permits.
PICKLEBALL:
From October - May Pickleball is played Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3pm to 5pm in the Mapleridge Public School gymnasium, in Powassan. Fee is $1 per day.
