The Municipality of Powassan would like to inform its residents about some scheduled construction work in Trout Creek, located at the McEachern Street and Morrison Street intersection. This construction work will involve the removal and replacement of the roadway culvert at this intersection, and is scheduled to take place between August 10, 2020 and August 14, 2020. The existing culvert has reached the end of its useful life, and will be replace with a Polymer Laminated Corrugated Steel culvert. During the completion of this construction, the Municipality will close the below listed roadways, and detour traffic accordingly.
The following roadways will be closed for the duration of this construction: McEachern Street - between Main Street West and Sweezey Street
Morrison Street - between McKenzie Street and McCarthy Street
