As of Monday, May 16, 2022 identification showing proof of residency is required for use of the Municipal Landfill. Acceptable forms of proof of residency are a driver's licence with a Municipality of Powassan address, a municipal tax or water bill.  

Contractor's working on a property within the Municipality of Powassan should download the Landfill Contractor Application form or pick one up at the Municipal Office.

The landfill is open Wednesday's & Friday's 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and Saturday's 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
