PLEASE NOTE there is a yellow weather warning in effect for the area due to freezing rain, snowfall amounts, wind and the possibility of reduced visibility and power outages.
 
The Public Works crew is working in the roads, please be patient. If you can stay home, please do. If you can’t, please drive with caution.
 
Garbage collection rescheduled from the 25th is still planned for today. Please have it at the curb by 7am.
The municipal office is closed, but for any concerns email office@powassan.net or call 705-724-2813 ext 202 or 224.
 
Report fallen trees or branches on roadways or municipal property to 705-497-6164; for power outages please contact Hydro One at 1-800-434-1235.
