Seeking Volunteers

Powassan Municipal Council has agreed to ask for volunteer committee involvement to review the operational and overall costs for the Trout Creek Community Centre, the Sportsplex Recreation Centre and Curling Rink.

It is expected that this committee, in conjunction with staff and Council representation, will review financial documents, and operational choices and provide recommendations for cost savings alternatives to Council, the Recreation Committee and Trout Creek Community Centre Board.

This committee will meet monthly, in person or virtually as necessary in the evening.  Agendas will be prepared in advance by a staff representative, and minutes will be received at Council regularly.
