NOTICE
2018 MUNICIPAL ELECTION
The Municipality of Powassan is now accepting applications for workers for the 2018 Municipal Election.
Advance Voting will be held:
Saturday October 6th, 2018 - 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
and
Thursday October 11th, 2018 - 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Election Day is:
Monday, October 22nd, 2018
A mandatory training session will be held:
Thursday September 27th, 2018 at 1:00 pm 250 Clark Street, Maple Room
We will need individuals for the following positions:
DEPUTY RETURNING OFFICERS
ELECTIONS OFFICIALS
GREETERS TO VERIFY IDENTITY AND RESIDENCY OF ELECTORS
If you are interested in working on Election Day or during the Advance Vote, and you are available for the training session, please contact the Municipal Office at 705-724-2813 during regular office hours to obtain an application. Applications forms are also available at the Municipal Office, 250 Clark Street Powassan, or the Municipal Website at www.powassan.net and will be accepted on or before 4:30pm Friday, September 14th, 2018.
