UPDATE - June 30, 2015

Calcium will be applied for dust control on Thursday July 2nd, 2015. Surface treatment will take place in August.

UPDATE - June 25, 2015

The remainder of the existing asphalt will be lifted today, however the granular material and calcium  will not be applied until Monday the 29th. The road will open to local traffic only; please drive with caution.

Notice of Roadwork - June 9, 2015

Dear Residents:

In 2014 a Road Needs Study was completed to identify municipal roadways that were below standard and/or in disrepair. Valley View Drive East was identified as a high priority area, and funds were subsequently allocated for a major roadway repair in the 2015 budget.

Construction is slated to begin June 15^th and continue over the coming weeks from Valley View Drive East at the train tracks to Memorial Park Drive. For a few residents, ditching, culvert replacement and drainage work will also be necessary and included in the work plan. While every effort will be made to minimize the impact on local traffic, delays should be expected.
