Every home should be prepared for 72 hours in case of blackouts or other natural emergencies. It's as simple as putting the items below in a duffle bag and checking on them twice a year to ensure they are still good.
- Flashlight and Batteries
- Radio and Batteries
- First Aid Kit
- Identification Papers
- Candles/Matches
- Extra Car Keys
- Extra Cash
- Food and Bottle Water
- Clothing and Footwear
- Blankets
- Personal items, toilet paper, toothpaste, etc.
- Any Medications
- Whistle (to attract attention if needed)
- Cards/Games (to keep boredom and stress at bay)
